The first item of business for Lincoln County commissioners when they meet Monday will be to elect a chairman and vice chairman.
They will also consider which commissioners to appoint to each of the boards and committees that have commissioner representation. Those appointments will be made at the commissioners’ Jan. 14 meeting.
Commissioners will also hear the annual report from County Weed Superintendent Todd Herndon, and they have allotted time to hear concerns from elected officials and county department heads.
In other business, commissioners will:
» Consider claims and treasurer’s receipts.
» Receive and order the filed fee reports submitted by the county clerk.
» Consider certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the county assessor.
» Consider motor vehicle tax exemptions.
» Discuss and consider approving bids for printing the 2019 Visitors Guide and rack card for the North Platte/Lincoln County Visitors Bureau.
Monday’s meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners Room of the Lincoln County Courthouse.
