Twila Leigh Jones, 72, of Columbia, Mo., passed away Sept. 18, 2013, at Boone Hospital Center.
Twila was born March 27, 1942, in North Platte to George Leroy and Isla Vivian Rowley Lookhart.
She was a graduate of North Platte High School, then earned her LPN degree from Lincoln School of Nursing. She later earned her RN degree in Albany, N.Y.
She worked as an RN at Columbia Regional Hospital for more than 25 years. Twila loved Elvis and liked to do crossword puzzles and cook.
She was married to Brian Jones and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Robert Heckathornm, of Clarksburg, Md.; a daughter, Karen Willingham, of Russellville, Mo.; two brothers, George Leroy (Judy) Lookhart, of Manhattan, Kan., and Larry Gene (Lynn) Lookhart, of Columbia, Mo.; two sisters, Karen (Pete) Chase, of North Platte, and Pam (Jack) White, of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a daughter, Robyn Andrews.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 21, at Parker Funeral Service. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Ashland, Mo. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 21, at the funeral home.
