Gov. Pete Ricketts will visit several Nebraska towns, including Gothenburg, for “Protect Our Kids and Schools” town halls this month.
Ricketts will be in Gothenburg July 14. The hourlong town hall will start at 2 p.m. at Gothenburg Community Playhouse/Sun Theatre.
Ricketts will discuss major priorities for the state’s schools, including the proposed health education standards and the draft sex education proposal, which he has opposed.
